If you would like to attend a class to learn to sell items on eBay, click here for the fall class schedule -September and October of 2008! There are two different classes that will be offered about selling items on eBay. The Introduction to eBay class will cover the very basics of selling on eBay. During this class, we will cover such topics as opening an eBay and pay pal account. And learning step by step how to list an item on eBay. Students do not need to bring anything to the class or to take notes. Students can actually leave the class with enough information to have an item listed on eBay within a matter of hours! Two publications will be offered in this class These two publications will contain information that will be covered in the class. You can click the links below to learn more about these publications. The first publication is titled “So You Have Decided That You Would Like to Get in on the Internet Action!” And the other publication for this class is titled “An Introduction to Your FTP Space”. Once you master the basics of selling on eBay, you might also want to attend the second class Which is called “A Beginner’s Guide to HTML”. In this second class. Students will learn to incorporate some HTML into an auction listing to give the listing some additional eye appeal! Also, just a little of the HTML language will help students to position photographs in auction listings exactly where you want them to appear and you will also be able to adjust the size and position of the photographs. You do not need to know anything about HTML to list items in an auction ... but knowing a little HTML will give you greater control over just how your auction information and photographs will appear to potential buyers! Also, during the second class, we will cover some computer basics. This will include some information on getting photos into your computer and onto the Internet so that potential buyers can view your pictures. We will also discuss some information about folders and naming and compressing photos. You can click the link below to read more about this publication titled “A Beginner’s Guide toComputer Basics”.
Just a note to let you know that you do not need previous experience to attend any classes! Beginners are MOST WELCOME and encouraged to attend! Sign up for just one class or a few classes or sign up for all of them ... You will be so glad you did!
